Cecilia Ikat Handbag / Brown
Part of our collection, this sophisticated vintage inspired handbag is handwoven by expert artisans. Made of T’nalak fabric, which is a hand woven fabric made by the T’boli tribe in Southern Mindanao.
It is made from abaca fibers which originally has three primary colors; red, black and the original color of the Abaca leaves. The color comes from vegetable dyes and natural pigments from tree barks.
This style is made with brown color dyed abaca and natural abaca.
Hand-woven by artisans using centuries-old techniques, we paired the textile with handmade wood handles with inlaid Mother of Pearl shells. Contrasting bright red fabric liner.
The Cecilia handbag was created through our partnership with Crystal Seas.
